As an instructor/personal trainer Demond has worked with all populations who desire to start a new fitness program, those interested in losing weight, and those wanting to build muscular strength and endurance. This includes obese clients, deconditioned individuals, those going through back and shoulder rehabilitation, expecting mothers, clients with diabetes and asthma, as well as youth clients. His methods include boot camp based training, resistance, plyometric and biomechanics training.
Demond has been fortunate to work side by side with Pete Thomas of the Biggest Loser Season 2 on projects such as acquiring a grant for health and fitness research. He also currently works with and trains a contestant from Biggest Loser Season 9 (which airs January 05, 2010) helping this client achieve, thus far, a life altering weight lose of one hundred pounds to date.
Being a part of the Ann Arbor’s community for only three years, Demond's impact has been nothing short of phenomenal. In his time here he has become actively involved with many groups in efforts to better the community’s overall health and fitness. Including, the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center's Community Outreach Program where he is on a board of speakers for active research. Demond also enthusiastically participates working strength and conditioning with athletes of many of the high schools in the surrounding area’s Varsity Sports programs.
Demond's primary goal as an instructor and personal trainer is to improve health and fitness of the Greater Ann Arbor Community. He strongly believes that this can be achieved by making each and every exercise experience a social, fun, and physically rewarding one. Compassionate about his mission of making Ann Arbor and its citizens healthier and sound, he makes sure that all leave his classes one hundred percent satisfied.

Anuja Rajendra:
BollyFit Creator and CEO Anuja Rajendra is an experienced dancer and choreographer and magnetic motivational speaker. A loyal Michigander, success to Anuja is eliciting the dormant dancer within every body in her home state and helping Michigan reach the top of the charts in the "healthiest state" category for both physical and spiritual well-being.
Anuja trained in Indian classical, folk and Bollywood dance styles since the age of six and performed professionally across the United States and in Canada and India since she was twelve years old. She believes that being fit, moving to music, and joy are natural states and that BollyFit is one of many vehicles that can guide us to return home.
To meet growing demand and make the program more accessible, Anuja developed the BollyFit Guide for Guides™ program to certify instructors to teach classes featuring her proprietary content and choreography.
Her private clients include Michigan-based U.S. National and Four Continents Ice Dance Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White. Together with their coaches, Anuja developed a traditional Indian folk dance for Meryl and Charlie's 2009-2010 competitive season that they hope to showcase at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, Canada.
Anuja and her husband live in Ann Arbor with their dancing buddies – two smiling sons and a beloved dog adopted from a Michigan rescue.
Ita Reyes- RYT I have been practicing yoga for 7 years. My teaching style is one that embraces differences and freedom of expression. No one student is alike therefore I encourage students to explore their body to achieve their unique expressions of the poses. I also like to promote a light spirited, friendly, and casual environment in my classroom.
